Marksmanship is best learned as a study; an intellectual process that enables the shooter to train for consistent results. It is extremely difficult to teach a student concepts on the firing line, and yet most instructors spend very little time in the classroom. Law enforcement is the greatest offender of presenting poor continuing firearm education. That is why so many officers consider qualification to be a matter of luck.
